FAQ

When?
Saturday March 9th 2013 from 10:45 to 17:30 and “aftersodas”

Where?
At Arcada

Who Should Come?
Anyone interested in mobile development & design!

But I can’t code, can I still come?
Our intent is to create an event for developers to come and share knowledge and experiences. The idea being to learn something new or get something done, in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

But developers don’t work in isolation (or at least they should not), they work in collaboration with;

  • Designers, both;
    • User Experience designers
    • User Interface designers
  • Testers – to make sure there are as few bugs as possible
  • entrepeneurs – to make a living (or get rich)
  • marketing – to ensure people hear about the end result

So as long as you think you might get something from the event, or you think you can contribute, feel free to sign up.
Thanks to our sponsors we are able to offer refreshments.

How do I register?
Hit the Signup page.

Why are we asking people to register
The main reason is so that we can make sure we have enough of everything on the day (seats, food, coffee etc.)
Rather than make you create yet another account, we are are using the two largest event/contact list sites – Eventbright & Lanyrd (oh, and there is a FB event as well).
A “hidden” benefit for you, is that it will be easier to get back in contact with that “interesting” person you met on the day.

So whats happening on the day?
subscribe to the RSS feed or become a Facebook Fan, or follow us on Twitter to stay up to date with developments as they happen.

Keep an eye on the Agenda page for more information 😉

Will I be able to code on the day?
Sure, if you want to. At least Windows Helsinki Applications Meetup (WHAM) will be there to meet with those of you who want to get more “hands-on” with Windows Development.
